Dr. Shashidhar Shree Niwas is working as a Senior Consultant Nephrologist with Artemis Hospital, Gurgaon. Formerly he was working with Alchemist Hospital in Gurgaon where he was also in-charge of the Renal Transplant Program. His key area of expertise is to slow down the progression of kidney disease, prevention of kidney disease, to reverse back the dialysis patient back to normalcy, successful kidney transplantation, managing dialysis patients, vascular access and clinical nephrology. He is expert in managing patients of kidney transplantation. He has completed his MBBS in 2000 from Darbhanga Medical College; MD in General Medicine in 2006 from Patna Medical College. Later in 2009, he also did DM in Nephrology from the Institute of Medical Sciences in prestigious Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi. Dr. Shashidhar has presented research papers in various nations and international conferences and has also written for various journals and international publications.
