His area of interest lies in the treatment of <strong>brain tumors, microvascular surgery, Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery. </strong>He was also the pioneer of Functional Neurosurgery for Parkinson disease and other movement disorders which were started in Oct 1998. Dr. Alok Gupta has treated several patients suffering from neurological problems in India and gives every patient the best of medical care. A renowned Neurosurgeon, Dr. Gupta in his 21 years of diverse experience has performed more than 175 cases of Functional Neurosurgery for movement disorders and Parkinson's disease that include Pallidotomy and Deep brain stimulation surgery.
