Dr. Uma Vaidyanathan is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist at the Max Hospital in New Delhi. With degrees of MBBS from the Seth G.S. Medical College & K.E.M. Hospital in Mumbai, she pursued her MS & DNBE (Diplomate of National Board of Examinations) from the Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College & General Hospital. With a special interest in Hormonal issues in young girls, low & high-risk Pregnancies, Urinary problems in older women, and Minimally Invasive Surgeries, such as, Laparoscopic Hysterectomies, she has been associated with other reputed institutions. Dr. Uma Vaidyanathan has worked as a WHO Coordinator at the Safdarjung Hospital and assisted in performing a facility based critical review of the causes of Maternal Mortality. Later she joined the prestigious AIIMS and worked as a Research Fellow in Foetal Medicine, where she garnered valuable experience in managing high-risk Pregnancies.
