Dr. Manu Shankar has undergone extensive training in General & Minimal Access as well as Bariatric Surgery at top institutes in the counter. His area of interest is Advanced Minimal Access, General Surgery, Hernia Surgery – Complex Hernias, Breast Disease, Anorectal Diseases. Dr. Shankar was the first surgeon in the country to use the PVP patch for umbilical Hernia an epigastric hernia, a revolutionary approach to the management of these hernias. He is also a teacher for Post Graduate Surgery Residents. He is also a Member of various Hospital Committees
