He was awarded the University Diploma in Advanced Upper GI Minimal Access Surgery from L’Université de Strasbourg, France. Dr.Rammohan has also completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Liver Transplantation. He is an awardee of the National Gold Medal in General Surgery, The National Board of Examinations, New Delhi and the best outgoing Higher Surgical Trainee from Stanley Medical College, Chennai. Dr. Ashwin Rammohan He has over 50 International peer reviewed publications, 40 abstracts/presentations in National & International Conferences and 2 Research Theses to his credit. He is an invited peer reviewer to various International Journals and the associate editor of Clinical Case Reports – BJS. He is also the International Surgical Advisor to the Royal College of Physicians  & Surgeons of Glasgow, UK.
