Dr. Saroja Balan is a Senior Consultant at the Neonatology Department of the Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi. With degrees of MRCPCH (PAEDUK) & FRCS, she is a renowned member of the Neonatology and Intensive Care of Surgical Neonates. A bright student of the prestigious Madras Medical College, she was awarded the fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians. With vast clinical experience in India and abroad, Dr. Balan was associated with three of the eminent hospitals in the UK – the John Rodchje Hospital (Oxford), Liverpool’s Children Hospital, and the Bradford’s Royal Infirmary. She is a published author, having articles in peer-reviewed journals, and has participated in many Conferences & Workshops at the National & International level. Her main areas of interest include intensive care of premature babies & newborns with surgical problems, post-operative ventilation, treating medical issues of children.
