Sardana did his MBBS and MD (Internal Medicine) from Delhi University and DM (Cardiology) from PGIMER, Chandigarh. He did his Clinical fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology from University of Toronto, Canada.

Dr. Sardana has work experience of 18 years in Pacing and Cardiac Electrophysiology having performed over 6000 procedures. He has worked in senior positions at Escorts heart institute and Apollo hospital, Delhi. His expertise includes Cardiac Devices (Pacemakers, Defibrillators (ICD), Biventricular pacing {CRT-P} and combo devices {CRT-D}), Electrophysiology studies (EPS) and Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)of various complex cardiac arrhythmias.

He has a number of publications in national and international journals to his credit. He has also been invited as faculty at various national and International forums. He has conducted ECG, Pacing and EP teaching and training courses for numerous DM and DNB cardiology students.
