Dr. Vivek Jain is the Neonatologist at Fortis Hospital Shalimar Bagh. He is an expert in newborn intensive care including care of ventilated and extremely low birth weight babies (<1000g with some <750g).He has worked in the field of Paediatrics Neonatology both in India and the UK for last 9 years.He is currently leading the newborn team facilities at FHSB. The team has a case series of 50 babies less than 1000g with no long term neurodevelopmental issues over 2 years. The team has produced a record of near Zero death rate and Zero incidence of hospital acquired infections over 3 consecutive years amongst all inborn babies.
