Dr. Jain completed DPM (Psychological Medicine) from Central Institute of Psychiatry (Govt. of India), Ranchi and MD (Psychiatry) from Ghaziabad. He also received a post graduate certificate in Epileptology from Cleveland Clinic, USA.

Dr. Jain has special interests in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, De-addiction Psychiatry and Psycho-sexual Disorders. He is amongst the few psychiatrists using RTMS (Repetitive Trans-cranial Magnetic Stimulation) Therapy in India. He has seven research papers published in national journals to his credit.
